MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Wharton Training High School Alumni and Ex-Students Association is as follow: MEMBERSHIPSection A. Membership in WTHSAEA shall be open to all WTHS Alumni and Ex-Students, family members, all relatives, individuals, friends, companies and organizations.Section B. There are three types of memberships.(1) A Regular Member is an alumni or ex-student of Wharton Training High School, family member, all relatives including spouses, individual and friends in good standing.(2) An Associate Member is a spouse, family member, other relatives, individuals, and friends of an alumni or ex-student of Wharton Training High School.(3) Corporate Members are Companies and Organizations who support the purposes of WTHSAEA and are in good standing.ARTICLE IV – RIGHTS OF MEMBERSSection A(1) Regular Members of WTHSAEA shall have the right to vote, hold office, initiate resolutions, plan, policies and projects. All policies and procedures must be voted on at any regular, special or annual meeting where a quorum is present and are binding when passed by a majority of those present.(2) Associate Members may not hold office or chair a committee and have no voting privileges but may be assigned by the President to a working committee. An Associate Member may upgrade to a Regular Membership.(3) Corporate Members may not hold office or chair a committee and have no voting privileges but may be assigned by the President to a working committee. They may not upgrade to Regular Membership.Section B WTHSAEA members dues must be paid to be considered in good standing to participate in any regular, special or annual meeting. DUESSection A The annual dues shall be Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per- Regular Member, Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per-Associate Member, Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per- Corporate (Companies) and Organization Members. Annual dues for Regular Member in the same household, that is Husband and Wife is One Hundred and Twenty Dollars ($120.00). The Annual Dues calendar year begins on January 1st and ends on December 31st of each year.
